If you want to do something active, the concierge is happy to arrange snorkeling, diving, kayaking, sailing, and visits to the ruins. A traditional hacienda-style house, the main house has a cozy living room with a gorgeous tiled floor and traditional wooden doors that open to a patio covered with Mexican pavers. The well-appointed home boasts rich Mexican textiles and charming folk art in every room of the villa. A wonderful spot to take in jungle views, the dining room features exposed wood beams and wide wood doors that lead out to the garden. A fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze, and with the stunning surroundings, alfresco dining is definitely in order. The grounds also feature a large pool with its own thatched-roof palapa and plenty of lounge chairs.

The main villa can house up to eight guests in three bright and airy en-suite bedrooms, separated from the living areas for privacy and quiet. The spacious sleeping rooms overlook the jungle or the courtyard, some with terraces to relax with a book. There’s even a private getaway on the top floor where you can take in unobstructed views of the Mediterranean while enjoying a soak in the Jacuzzi on the terrace.
