This sleek house was built from hardwoods, limestone and plaster, its exterior polished to a smooth luster by the ancient Mayan technique called chukum. Expertly edited to reflect clean lines and uncluttered style, Casa Sisal is a modern masterpiece. Every detail has been attended to in the minimalist design. Massive sliding glass doors on both sides of the villa open to the outdoors, breathing nature and fresh air into the space. Ten-foot-tall ceilings set the scale for towering doorways and lofty rooms. A completely open floor plan incorporates a full gourmet kitchen, dining area for eight and living room with a sunken modular seating area.
