THE PLACE
This Zihuatanejo luxury villa offers breathtaking panoramic views from a secluded cliffside perch on Mexico´s Pacific coast. THE SPACE
Beautiful architecture by Enrique Zozaya features palapas and multi-story structures built into the rocky cliffside, suspended over the intoxicating sound of crashing waves. At the heart of this ocean view Zihuatanejo villa is an open-air palapa that feels spacious yet intimate, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The same level flows between an expansive sun deck, shaded hammocks and an infinity swimming pool with incredible ocean views. The aesthetic takes inspiration from nature, with baked terracotta facades, wooden platforms, water features, and decorative pieces that pay homage to traditional Mexican design.

 

SLEEPING ROOMS
Seven well-appointed suites spread across three structures sleep up to a total of 18 guests, featuring ensuite bathrooms, wooden ceiling beams, unique artwork and organic wall hangings. The main house hosts three king bedrooms, each with a terrace and one with a private plunge pool. In the upper house, you´ll find a king room with a terrace, and another bedroom with two double beds, four twin bunk beds, and a terrace. To complete the sleeping arrangements, the annex offers a king bed.

 

SURROUNDINGS
Bask in your private temple of calm and enjoy those exquisite sunsets the Pacific coast is known for. Zihuatanejo´s downtown area is a short 12-minute drive away, where you can explore gorgeous beaches, peruse local shops, eat at beachfront restaurants and wander along the boardwalk. Humpback whales can be spotted over the winter months, with surfing, fishing, and jet-skiing available all year round. Stay closer to home and head to Punta Garrobo beach club to make use of the pool and tennis courts, or hike over to the old lighthouse.

 

AMENITIES
Casa Garrobo offers two swimming pools, one plunge, and access to Punta Garrobo Community Beach Club´s amenities including paddleball and tennis courts. Guests will receive the assistance of daily housekeeping and a private chef for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In-villa massage and yoga services are available for an additional cost.
