THE PLACE
Located on the Los Cabos Corridor, Casa Captiva is a modern Mexican hacienda that sits on a white-sand beach. This luxury villa offers privacy and exclusivity, yet it’s just 10 minutes from restaurants, art galleries and shops of San Jose del Cabo. The single-level beach villa invites you to relax and rejuvenate in stylish and comfortable spaces. With six bedrooms, this luxury rental sleeps up to 12 guests. Spacious enough for extended family or multiple couples traveling together, Casa Captiva resides in an upscale Punta Bella community, which is safe and welcoming, so you’ll feel at home during your vacation.

 

THE SPACE
Each space of the villa has been carefully curated to reflect a traditional Mexican aesthetic with old-world flair. Folk art, iron fixtures, and carved-wood furniture grace the rooms and create an air of relaxation. The gracious spaces feel expansive and cozy at the same time. The living room area offers a comfy seating spot with leather and velvet chairs cozied next to a fireplace. The fully outfitted kitchen in this beachfront villa is large enough for multiple cooks and has professional stainless-steel appliances and all the tools needed to whip up a feast. A center island extends the workspace and features a long breakfast bar with stools. For other entertainment, you’ll find a media room with satellite TV, sports bar with a pool table, piano in the living room and even a massage room.

 

THE ROOMS
The large bedroom suites are rich in detail, from grand carved-wood beds to vibrant tapestries. Ambient lighting, texture and wood come together to create retreats that you will yearn to return to each night. The main house features three king suites with walk-in closets and ocean views, in addition to direct access to the terrace. The fourth bedroom in the main villa is a kids’ room with two queen and two twin beds and a kitchenette–ideal for families with children. Each suite has a private bathroom, grand in size and design with colorful tiles, mirrors with ornate frames and wood-beam ceilings. A cottage with king bed and casita with a queen round out the sleeping quarters.

 

THE SURROUNDINGS
Towering palm trees sway over the red-tiled roof and arcaded silhouettes of the villa. Various seating areas dot the spacious stone patio, and sun loungers and flowering plants outline the heated infinity pool, which seems to spill over onto the beach below. On breezy afternoons, slip into the Jacuzzi and watch the often unpredictable waters of the ocean crashing on the sand in front of the property. A shaded deck just off the main villa houses a dining table where you can gather for coffee while taking in stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. Later, enjoy cocktails at the outdoor wet bar or fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco under an open-air palapa perched over the beach.

 

THE AMENITIES
Daily maid service included with your stay keeps the villa tidy and fresh. Other services available for an added cost are chef, spa and babysitting.
