THE SPACE 
Casa Ballena strikes a balance between contemporary and earthy, a juxtaposition of open stone and minimal clean lines, palapa thatched roofs and sophisticated furniture. This private home´s wall length floor-to-ceiling sliding doors give the indoor, open plan dining and lounge area an al fresco feel, complete with with views across the patio´s crisp pool and stylish loungers onto pristine golf course greens. A backdrop of sandy beige is given texture through woven furniture, wooden furnishings and natural decorative objects in similar hues. The swimming pool and patio wrap around to a beautiful thatched palapa, perfect for dining and relaxing in the shade. Head up to the villa´s rooftop area to soak up the sunshine and cool off in a private plunge pool.

SLEEPING ROOMS 
Six ensuite bedrooms, sleeping up to fourteen guests, continue the gorgeous aesthetic with plush textiles and individual décor. Some rooms feature palapa roofs and freestanding stone bathtubs, garden view floor-to-ceiling windows and a private terrace or balcony. Four of the guest rooms provide a king bed, with a further two rooms each offering two double beds. A wooden, semi-covered walkway stretches through the heart of the property, joining the bedrooms, main spaces, and leafy gardens.

Enjoy a peek of Pacific Ocean from the patio and rooftop terrace, with verdant green bursting from every frame. Walk to El Anclote for beachside restaurants, water activities and sunsets in the sand, or head out to visit the surrounding beach towns such as chilled San Pancho and buzzing Sayulita. In the winter months, take a boat trip to spot migrating humpback whales and snorkel by the striking offshore Marieta Islands.
