THE PLACE

THE SPACE
Bright and airy with white walls, light wood accents, and muted colors, the casa´s design is a spotless extension of the coastline´s salt-kissed, sunny, sandy beaches, framed by Pacific blue. The villa´s underground areas include a slick games room, cinema theatre with comfy communal sofas, and even a chilled private bar. The main level centers around a grand, contemporary palapa with expansive plush sofas, another bar, and a huge 18-seater dining table flanked by giant pillar candles, all with impressive views across the pool patio to the ocean. The interiors are just as spacious; an open plan family room and dining area has plenty of cozy seating while still enjoying extensive sea views thanks to sliding doors that seamlessly open multiple walls. Outside on the patio, sun–drenched loungers and day beds scatter alongside the gorgeous infinity swimming pool and jacuzzi.  

SLEEPING ROOMS
Casa Akai´s sleeping quarters continue the villa´s base aesthetic, with the addition of bold textiles and wall hangings. A total of eight king and double queen rooms are spread throughout the property, accommodating up to 18 guests. Three garden suites sit next to the gym and spa areas, each with a private outdoor terrace. You´ll find two generous main suites on the upper floor, boasting their own living areas, king beds, soaking tubs, and outdoor showers. Three ocean suites are situated on the main floor to one side of the palapa, decked out with wrap-around windows, ocean view bathtubs and private terraces opening to the villa´s common spaces. 

SURROUNDINGS
Punta Mita is coveted for its incredible natural scenery, world-class Jack Nicklaus golf courses, local surf spots for all levels, myriad of beach clubs, and upscale coastal lifestyle. Enjoy the sound of crashing waves from your villa, look out for pods of whales over the winter migration season, or take a boat out and go snorkeling around the Marieta Islands. Get your fill of buzzy beach towns at nearby Sayulita and San Pancho, or satisfy your adventurous side with local hikes and ATV rides.
