Bejuco House is a tropical oasis hidden in the jungle of Tulum on the Riviera Maya. This beach villa balances rustic elegance with a boho vibe to create a casual seaside retreat — you won’t find another Mexico accommodation quite like it. Situated on a white-sand beach, Bejuco House fronts Tulum’s pristine coral reef, the second-largest coral reef on the planet. You’ll feel like you are worlds away from civilization, yet top-class restaurants and boutique shops are close by as are the remains of a pre-Columbian Maya walled city. A blissful escape from everyday life, this unique house oozes beachy style and sleeps up to eight people in three bedrooms.

The interiors of Bejuco House are warm and inviting with unique twists. This luxury villa has a fully equipped kitchen which opens to the other shared spaces. The dining area with an eight-person table leads from the kitchen into the living space. Built around its natural surroundings, the living area seamlessly incorporates a palm tree growing through the room. Old shiplap walls warm the living space which has smooth stone flooring and wall-to-wall windows. A large-scale macramé art piece hangs on the wall over the U-shaped sofa and an intricately carved Indonesian coffee table. From the sofa, wall-wide sliding glass doors lead to a courtyard teeming with lush plants.

This Tulum villa houses three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and wood ceilings with rough-hewn beams counterbalance the rich hardwood floors. The rustic aesthetic is deceiving as the interiors are outfitted with modern comforts, including luxurious beds, air conditioning, and closets. Furnished in soft, neutral tones with pops of vivid color, like sea blue and fern green, the sleeping rooms are tranquil refuges. The view of lush greenery gives the spacious master suite the feel of a treehouse, and the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, smooth plastered walls and double vanity with sinks hand-painted in vibrant colors. A second king suite found on the uppermost floor is simple and uncluttered with soft organic colors, including the cornflower blue of a corner armoire. The double-bedded suite features wall-to-wall sliding glass doors that open directly onto the pool.

The outdoor spaces of Bejuco House have a magical quality to them, as if you’ve stumbled upon a beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle. Next, to the pool on the terrace, you’ll find a cozy seating arrangement where you can enjoy an evening cocktail.
If you want to sneak away to finish your favorite book, climb up to the human nest built of twigs and sticks, complete with hanging lanterns. A walled-in swimming pool runs the length of the villa and is surrounded by a tropical garden with shades of green that stand out against the soft pink walls. A dip in the pool feels a bit like splashing around a secluded lagoon. Or maybe the turquoise waters of the Caribbean are beckoning you to walk across the white sand and wade in for a while.
