HOW TO GET TO CAREYES?

You can fly into either Manzanillo International Airport, around 80km from Careyes, or Puerto Vallarta International Airport, around 170km away.

IS CAREYES SAFE?

The US. Department of State does not mention Careyes specifically. However, neighboring tourist hotspots such as Puerto Vallarta have no restrictions for travel.

Electricity

The standard voltage in Mexico is 110-120. Outlets are the same as the US.

Weather

Costa Careyes winters are comfortable and dry. Summers are hot with afternoon rains. Weather info.

Costa Careyes falls in the Central Time Zone. Daylight Savings is in early April and late October.

The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican Peso. ATMs are available in most areas.

It is advisable to drink bottled water, which is available everywhere.
