Named in Spanish as the ´hidden gem´, this oceanview Puerto Escondido villa is tucked away on a hillside in the heart of the city, offering stunning views over Playa Manzanillo, Puerto Angelito, and the Pacific Ocean. The luxury home lies within a gated community just 10-minutes from the city´s international airport, inviting guests to unwind as soon as they arrive to Oaxaca´s favorite beach town. Puerto Escondido is known for its laid-back atmosphere, amazing waves for surfers, and sunsets on beautiful beaches.

 

THE SPACE
This private rental feels artistic and contemporary, with design elements that showcase local artisanal talent. Handmade furniture, textiles and ceramics decorate the minimal-white spaces, adding pops of texture and color to the Oaxaca-inspired aesthetic. The spacious open-air living area sits under a vast palapa roof with woven hanging light fixtures, while a long curve of sofa encourages afternoon chats, and a circular, sunken dining table suggests intimate meals with good company. Outside, guests are rewarded breathtaking views of Pacific blue over the pristine gardens, enveloped by swaying palms, coconuts, and striking cacti. The patio hosts an al fresco lounge, covered by the main palapa, with a beautiful free-form infinity pool in front.
